The Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has threatened Igbos in the state to stay at home if they would not vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s governorship and House of Assembly elections.
MC Oluomo said this while addressing supporters of the ruling APC in Lagos.
The Parks Management chairman, in a viral video, said: “We have begged them. If they don’t want to vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them, mama Chukwudi, if you don’t want to vote for us, sit down at home. Sit down at home.”

This is coming after the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, won in Lagos State during the February 25 presidential election.
Obi, in the presidential election, polled 582,454 votes to defeat APC presidential candidate and former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, who garnered 572,606 votes.
Obi’s victory in Lagos State has since then positioned the LP governorship candidate in the state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, as a major challenger to incumbent Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the APC.
