The spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Sen. Dino Melaye, on Monday, walked out of the National Collation Centre for the presidential election results at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
Melaye, who is the agent of the PDP at the collation centre, walked out from the centre alongside an agent of the Labour Party (LP), among others over non-upload of the election results on the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The former senator said the results presented by INEC state collation officers for the presidential election were not uploaded on the commission’s Results Viewing Portal (IReV).

He stressed that there was over-voting in Ekiti State, saying the INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, must not accept the results.
Yakubu, however, said there was no over-voting in Ekiti State, adding that the commission stood by the results declared by the collation officer of the state, Prof. Akeem Olawale Lasisi.
Melaye, who represented Kogi West Senatorial District in the 8th Senate, and a former governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, among others thereafter walked out on the INEC boss.
The collation of results in Abuja has since continued in their absence.
