Mercy Aigbe marries ex-husband’s friend

Top actress, Mercy Aigbe, has married her former husband’s friend.

The new husband is Alhaji Kazim Adeoti, widely known as Adekaz Productions. Adeoti is popular in the Yoruba movie circles.

The marriage came four years after a bitter separation from the husband, Otunba Lanre Gentry.

Gentry had accused the actress of infidelity, but Mercy blamed the bitter seven-year relationship on account of domestic violence.

Mercy revealed that the marriage took place in December 2021. She, however, revealed the consummation of the relationship and the identity of the new husband on Sunday, January 23.

On Monday, she described the new husband as her king and happiness. “Still celebrating my king! Thank you for being my peace, my happiness. May Almighty Allah continue to bless your path and uplift you beyond your imagination,” the actress wrote on Monday.

The former husband remarried last September.

Gentry’s reaction to Mercy’s marriage was to post a picture showing the new husband was his friend.

“At last I thank God the truth is out. This is just one out of many. Glory be to God,” he wrote.
