MoneyMaster Bank announces data offer for Glo customers

MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank (MMPSB) has introduced a new 100MB data offer for new Globacom customers in Nigeria.

MMPSB made this known in a statement made available to The Star on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

MoneyMaster stated that the initiative was designed to encourage Nigerians to create and maintain their mobile wallet via the bank’s USSD banking platform, using the code *995#.

“The offer is available exclusively to Glo customers of the bank,” it said.

MoneyMaster noted that, in addition to the new offer, it recently launched a 10 per cent data bonus for existing and new customers on the Glo network for recharges of N1000 or more, adding that the offer has been widely acclaimed as one of the best in the country.

The bank disclosed that the data purchases have a 30-day validity, noting that unused data can be rolled over upon the next plan subscription.

Speaking on the new offer, the Head of Agency Banking at MoneyMaster, Julius Arhebun, said: “As a payment service bank, one of our core mandates is to promote financial inclusion. This offer builds on the various financial education initiatives we have been providing online and across our various customer touchpoints.

“With this new 100MB offer, we want to encourage Nigerians in the unbanked and underbanked pools to be financially included by having at least a mobile wallet. The account number of this mobile wallet is derived from their mobile number, and can be easily recalled.

“A leading provider of innovative digital financial products and services that transform lives and contribute to sustainable living, MoneyMaster PSB’s mission is to deepen financial inclusion, providing financial technology services to bridge the gap between the banked, underbanked, and unbanked population.”
