Naira notes: 13 parties threaten to boycott 2023 elections over deadline extension

13 out of the 18 registered political parties in the country have threatened to withdraw from participating in the 2023 general election if the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) extends the deadline for the use of old naira notes.

CBN fixed February 10 as the deadline for the use of old 200, 500, 1,000 naira notes.
