Naira trades N1,671/$ at official market

The naira on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, appreciated at the official market, trading at N1,671.32 to the dollar.

Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange, a platform that oversees the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), revealed that naira gained N5.58.

This represents a 0.33 per cent gain when compared to the previous trading date on Monday when it exchanged at N1,676.90 to a dollar.

National grid collapses for 10th time in 2024

The total daily turnover also increased to 218.77 million dollars on Tuesday up from 79.47 million dollars recorded on Monday.

At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the Naira traded between N1,687 and N1,591.65 against the dollar.
