Naira trades N1,687/$ at official market

The naira depreciated at the official market on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, trading at N1,687.52 against the dollar.

Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange revealed that the naira lost N8.59.

This represents a 0.51 per cent loss when compared to the previous trading date on Tuesday when it exchanged at N1,678.93 to a dollar.

However, the total daily turnover increased to $173.29 million on Wednesday up from $128.59 million recorded on Tuesday.

At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the naira traded between N1,705 and N1,601.50 against the dollar.
