NEF chair, Ango Abdullahi, loses son

The chairman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Prof. Ango Abdullahi, has lost his eldest son, Isah Ango Abdullahi.

It was gathered that Isah passed away in Abuja on Thursday night after a brief illness.

It was further learnt that the remains of the NEF chairman’s son would be brought to Zaria, Kaduna State on Friday for burial.

A family member further disclosed that funeral prayers for the deceased would be held at about 1:30 pm at Haruna Danja Juma’at Mosque.

Isah, until his death, was an official of the Nigerian Intelligence Agency (NIA) in Abuja.

He is survived by a wife and children.
