NELFUND unveils 12 new state institutions eligible for student loan

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has included 12 state-owned tertiary institutions in the list of institutions eligible to apply for the student loan.

NELFUND made this known via a statement issued by its spokesperson, Nasir Ayitogo, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

The Fund had, on Sunday, July 7, announced 36 state institutions eligible to apply for the student loan.

Ayitogo urged all institutions yet to submit their students’ data to the Student Verification Portal (SVS) of the Fund to do so to enable their students to benefit from the scheme.

Ayitogo noted that the addition followed the submission and verification of data completeness and accuracy required from the state institutions.
