Nigerian airline Green Africa has announced a temporary suspension of its flight operations, citing an unforeseen dispute with its aircraft lessor.
Green Africa announced this via a statement issued on Monday, March 31, 2025.
The airline noted that all flights will remain suspended until after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.
Green Africa expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and assured passengers that it is working diligently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Green Africa stressed its commitment to resuming normal operations once the dispute is settled.

“We sincerely apologize to our valued customers who will be affected by this disruption. Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to resume operations in the shortest possible time,” the airline stated.
Green Africa, however, failed to provide further details on the dispute with its lessor.
The airline reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and customer care just as it urged passengers impacted by the suspension to stay informed through the its official communication channels.
