NUC approves University of Agriculture, Climate Action in Niger State

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of Abubakar Abdulsalami University of Agriculture and Climate Action at Mokwa in Niger State

This becomes the 65th state university and 277th university in Nigeria.

The certificate of recognition was presented to Niger State Governor Umar Bago by the Pro-Chancellor of Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, Prof. Muhammad Kuta-Yahaya in Minna, the state capital, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

15-year-old student sues education ministry, JAMB, NUC over admission policy

The governor appreciated Kuta-Yahaya for the work he has been doing for Niger State, especially in the education sector.

Bago also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment towards revamping the sector.
