Okun youths laud Mangal for industrial drive in Kogi

A youth group in Okunland of Western Senatorial District of Kogi State, Okun Dynamic Front, has commended the Chairman of Magal Cement Company, Dahiru Mangal, for raising the level of industrialisation in the state.

The group, in a statement issued on Thursday by its president, Adedolapo Samuel, said the establishment of Mangal Cement Company will ensure youth employment in the state, noting that this was in line with the vision of the Kogi State Government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello.

It said: “Alh. Dahiru Mangal is not the only Billionaire in Nigeria. But while others are busy investing their resources abroad, Alh. Mangal has invested his own Nigeria and created wealth as well as employment for thousands of people working in his many companies.

“The establishment of a Cement Company by Mangal in Okunland will help address the monopoly of Dangote, bring down the cost of cement, and also help many to own their homes. Many people will benefit from the company.

“We also wish to commend the Governor for creating an enabling environment for Kogi to become the industrial hub of Nigeria, thanking the Governor for supporting the establishment of many companies where youths can be gainfully employed.”

The group stated that the youths of Okun will continue to support Mangal Industries, urging the host communities to cooperate with the industry for the development of the community and Kogi State.

“We urge the host communities to cooperate with Mangal Industries so that we will have the full benefits of such a gigantic project,” the group added.
