Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has appointed popular comedian, Oluseyi Aletile, fondly called Seyi Law, as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Entertainment and Tourism.

The appointment was disclosed via a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Monday, July 29, 2024.

Others appointed as SSAs include Alonge Felix Kolawole (Social Investment), Tomide Akinribido (ICT), Allen Sowore (Strategic Communication), Femi Lawson (Public Enlightenment), and Rotimi Agbede (Citizen Orientation).

Also appointed are Muyiwa Ogunleye (Community Integration), Rotimi Wemimo Akinsola (Agric and Agribusiness), Uzoma Egbulefu (Non-indigenes), and Olufunke Adu (Market Women Relations).

The governor equally appointed Eko Davies (Traders Affairs), Kike Isijola (Digital Media), Dupe Adetuwo (Arts and Culture), Fadesola Ojamomi (Inter-Party Affairs), Oladimeji Olawale (Intra-Party Affairs), Oriade Adebanwo (Emergency Response), Bello Titus Abiodun (Innovation), and Akinboni Samuel (Party Affairs).

Aiyedatiwa also appointed Special Assistants for mobilisation and representation of non-indigenous communities in Ondo State.

Those appointed include Ejor Agagu (Mobilisation), Oluyemi Damilola Grace (Mobilisation), Isaiah Igwe (Non-indigenes for Igbo – North), Francis Belohun (Non-indigenes for Igbo – Central), Uche Okafor (Non-indigenes for Igbo – South), Mohammed Jamil (Non-indigenes for Hausa – North), and Goniya Garuba (Non-indigenes for Hausa – Central).

Others are Issa Umar Mohammed (Non-indigenes for Hausa – South), Tenuche Fatai (Non-indigenes for Ebira – North), Abdulkareem Ododo (Non-indigenes for Ebira – South), Imo Owoh (Non-indigenes for others), and Abdulkadir Adinoyi (Non-indigenes for Ebira – Central).

Adeniyan further stated that the appointments were part of the governor’s efforts to enhance governance and service delivery in Ondo State, adding that the appointment of Seyi Law and others were with immediate effect.
