The Osun State Government has appointed the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Prince Adegboyega Famodun, as the new Owa of Igbajo in the Boluwaduro Local Government Area of the state.
The appointment was disclosed via a statement issued on Monday by the Osun State Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode.
Egbemode said Famodun’s appointment was approved at the State Executive Council meeting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Monday, adding that the appointment was with immediate effect.

The stool of Owa of Igbajo became vacant following the death of Oba Olufemi Fasade on December 23, 2020.
