The operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a pastor at the Christ Liberty Evangelism Church in the Ota area of the state, Oyenekan Oluwaseyi, and three others with a human skull.
The pastor and the three others – 30-year-old Ibrahim Agbowewe, 40-year-old Suleiman Ogunbunmi, and 57-year-old Gafari Akinsanya – were arrested in the Saje area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
It was gathered that the suspects intended to use the human skull for rituals.
It was learned that some police officers stormed the area and arrested the four suspects after they were alerted about their (suspects) suspicious movement and activities in the area.

It was further gathered that the policemen recovered one big calabash, one black Toyota Camry car, and a ram from the suspects.
Confirming the incident on Sunday, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, said the suspects had confessed to the crime.
Odutola said: “We arrested the four of them. They have since confessed that they wanted to use the head for blessings and money rituals.
“The investigations are ongoing to unravel more details about the incident.”
