A Nigerian evangelist, Gospel Agochukwu, has “miraculously” found new naira notes in his bible.
Agochukwu disclosed that he found the new naira notes in his bible after he needed to get something urgently with cash and also wanted to help a family member who does not have a bank account.
The cleric, in a Facebook post on Friday, said he did not know where to get the new currency until “Bank of Heaven” sent him some naira notes through the bible.
He revealed that he later opened his bible and found some new denominations in it.
Agochukwu, who shared pictures of the new naira notes in the bible, flaunted some of the denominations with his hands.
“Needed Cash to get something urgent and help a family without bank account but couldn’t find; I opened one of my bible and found some new Naira notes.

“Bank of Heaven have supplied me already. Miracle no de tire Jesus,” the cleric wrote.
There has been an outcry over the scarcity of the naira notes in the country.
The scarcity has led to protests in some parts of Nigeria with banks attacked by aggrieved citizens.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) announced plans to redesign N200, N500, and N1,000 notes on October 26, 2022.
The apex bank later set December 15 as the official commencement date for the circulation of the new naira notes, which President Muhammadu Buhari unveiled on November 23, 2022.
The CBN subsequently issued a revised cash withdrawal policy, stating that cash withdrawals above N100,000 and N500,000 for individuals and corporate organisations will attract processing fees of five per cent and 10 per cent, respectively.
