The founder and senior pastor of the Grace Nation Church International, Dr Chris Okafor, says every activity planned to commemorate the church’s 21st anniversary will be dedicated to God for His faithfulness.

Okafor said this while unveiling plans to commemorate the event tagged, ‘Life In The Spirit’, which will be held between Thursday and Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the church’s headquarters in the Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos State.

Pastor Okafor said he has every cause to celebrate God for His faithfulness in all of his years in his ministry which has now spanned more than two decades.

The cleric stated: “From the very beginning when we were taking tentative steps like a baby learning to walk and up till now when we have reached adulthood, spreading our tentacles far and wide, with copious evidence of divine backing in all we have achieved, it has been God all the way.

“Grace Nation started as a church in a room, then to a school, and on to a single plot of land. It was quite a humble beginning with a lot of challenges. But that we have been able to conquer all the challenges, including an attempt on my life by kidnappers who held me captive for more than 50 days, is all due to the invisible but very supportive hands of God.

Pastor Okafor: Church needs power, not rhetorics

“I very much doubt that we would have been able to make the journey, or reach this far if God did not give us His backing all the way. Today, Grace Nation can be found in almost every state in Nigeria, as well as in several far-flung places across the globe, as we continue to dig in deep to fulfil God’s soul-winning mandate.

“Through His continual presence in our ministry, millions of the oppressed, defeated and hopeless have found deliverance, healings and breakthroughs in all areas of their lives, thus further firing our zeal and commitment to the mandate.

“For all these, and more, we intend to roll out the red carpet, beat the drums of victory and dance to songs of joy to celebrate God Almighty for His abundant mercies and faithfulness all through the years.”

The church noted that the three-day anniversary event will commence with a reloaded version of the “Prophecy, Healing and Deliverance (PHD) service” which will hold on Thursday, November 28, while the “International Night of Prophecy and Solution” follows on Friday, November 29.

The event is scheduled to end on Sunday, December 1, with a host of presentations ranging from drama, choreography, special song renditions, and Bible recitations, among others.
