Joy Bishara, one of the students who escaped after terrorists attacked Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, in 2014, has been engaged to her lover in the United States.
It was gathered that Bishara, who relocated to U.S. alongside her cousin, Lydia Pogu, recently got engaged in the country.
She graduated from Southeastern University in the United States, where she obtained a degree in social work in 2021.

It would be recalled that 276 female students were kidnapped by the Boko Haram insurgents during an attack on the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok in 2014.
57 of the schoolgirls escaped by jumping from the trucks on which they were being transported by the terrorists, while many others were later rescued by security operatives.
However, over 100 students are still missing.
