The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has visited former President Goodluck Jonathan at the latter’s residence in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Obi disclosed this via a tweet on his verified Twitter account on Friday.
“My team and I just arrived at the residence of President Goodluck Jonathan in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State,” the former governor of Anambra State tweeted.

Also announcing the meeting on his Twitter page, Jonathan said President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor must work towards uniting Nigeria.
“Today, I received in audience members of the Presidential Campaign Council of the Labour Party led by its presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
“I reiterated that to move Nigeria forward, we all must see it as our own country and believe in the unity of the nation.
“Whoever becomes the next president must work towards uniting the nation.
“I also stressed on the need for a credible election and urge the Labour Party and all other parties and their supporters to conduct their campaigns peacefully,” the former President stated.
