Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Tuesday visited some victims of the Abuja-Kaduna-bound train attack.
Accompanied by the heads of some security agencies stationed in Kaduna, Governor El-Rufai visited the 44 Military Hospital and St. Gerald Hospital to see some of the injured victims.
The governor stated that efforts are ongoing to account for all persons that were on the train while the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency will shortly announce phone numbers that families can contact for inquiries or to provide information on passengers.
Suspected terrorist had on Monday night attacked a Kaduna-bound train, few kilometres to Kaduna metropolis.
No fewer than 970 passengers were said to be on board when the train was attacked.
The train departed Abuja 6p.m., and was expected to arrive Kaduna 8p.m.
But the train was attacked at about 7.45p.m.
