PHOTOS: Troops neutralize Boko Haram terrorists in Borno

The Nigerian Army has said that the troops of Operation Desert Sanity, on Tuesday, neutralized several Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province Terrorists (ISWAP) terrorists in Borno State.

The army said the troops neutralized the terrorists who attempted to strike in Wulgo and Marte axis in Borno State.

The Nigerian Army made the disclosure via a tweet on its verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.

It stated that weapons and gun trucks were recovered from the insurgents.

The tweet read: “In continuation of ongoing operations and dominating the battlefield, troops of Operation Desert Sanity today neutralized several ISWAP/Bokoharam terrorists who attempted to infiltrate Wulgo and Marte axis in Borno State.

“Weapons and gun trucks amongst others were recovered.”
