Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has recalled two commissioners, a special adviser, and a liaison officer earlier suspended after nearly two months.
The Director of Press and Public Affairs to the governor, Gyang Bere, announced this in a statement on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Mutfwang had, on August 21, suspended the Plateau State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Chrysanthus Dawam; and the Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality, Jamila Tukur.
Others suspended were Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dio Lamul; and the Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency, Moses Sule.

No reason was given for the suspensions.
Bere, however, noted that the recall of the affected officials followed a thorough review and significant improvement in their conduct.
He added that the recalled officials have been reinstated in their various positions.
