Police arrest cultist at APC rally in Kwara

The Kwara State Police Command says its operatives have arrested a suspected cultist, Safi Abolaji, at a political rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The police said its operatives also recovered two locally-made pistols and cartridge from the suspect at the Ojuekun Sarumi area of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Sunday, January 29, 2023.

This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi.

Ajayi said the cultist confessed to be a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
