The operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested the suspected killer of a fresh graduate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Glory Adekolure.
The Star had reported that the 22-year-old female graduate was raped to death in Edo State.
The late student’s brother, in a post on X, revealed that Adekolure was beaten, raped, and killed while she was on her way back home from the university.
He noted that the deceased was processing her clearance when she was raped to death by unknown assailants in the Iyowa area of Benin, the Edo State capital, on June 13, 2024.
Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki later ordered the Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, to arrest the killers of the UNIBEN graduate within seven days.
