The Ekiti State Police Command has declared a 30-year-old man, Ismaheel Olakanye, missing in the state.
The Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu, made the declaration in a statement on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
Abutu stated Olakanye, a resident of the New Creation Secondary School Area, Olorunda, Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, left home at about 8 p.m. on August 18 to an unknown destination and has not returned since then.

Abutu said Olakanye is dark in complexion, five feet tall, speaks Yoruba language fluently, and has no tribal mark.
He said the command has commenced investigation to unravel his whereabouts.
The police spokesman urged anyone with any useful information concerning the man’s present location to kindly contact the nearest police station or call 09064050086.
