Controversial singer, Habeeb Olalomi, fondly called Portable, has declared himself a madman, who needs help.
Portable revealed that he receives treatment for his mental health at Aro Psychiatric Hospital, Abeokuta, where he is one of the patients.
In a heartfelt plea via videos on Instagram on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Portable said he is a certified psychiatric patient.
The Police had on Monday declared him wanted for assaulting officials of Ogun State Government.
Portable said: “…I fear government. I am a federal government liability. Then I’m a madman; I have medications that I usually take. You can confirm from Aro Hospital. I have a card that certifies me as one of their patients.
Police declare Portable wanted for assaulting Ogun govt officials
“I am from Abeokuta and they are taking care of me there. I am not a thief; I help people around me without even looking at their background.”
The singer appealed to the Dapo Abiodun-led government and the general public to forgive him.
He said: “Nigeria, this is when I need you people’s help. There’s no place like home, but evil people full home. Why only me? Why do I have issues in Nigeria? I do music for a living, I’m not a thief, I don’t kill people. I wait for my blessing. I bless people too. I don’t make trouble. People look for my trouble, I’m a superstar.
“God forgive me if I do any bad. After God, na government. They set me up with the government. I don’t have any issues with the government or police. Some people just came to my house, telling me to pack out. I’m not a criminal. I’m not feeling fine. And I’m afraid. I don’t want them to lock me up. I’m going through pain all over my body. I’m a Federal Government liability. I didn’t go to school, I’m a fashion designer.”
