Scores of #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters, on Thursday, August 1, 2024, protest at the Government House in Kano, the Kano State capital.
The protesters partaking in the nationwide protest against hardship set up a bonfire in front of the Government House.
The demonstrators from different parts of Kano gathered at the Government House where Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf was to address them.
Protesters slam minister in Abuja
Some of the protesters however assembled tyres and set them ablaze as they were approaching the gate.
The development made security operatives at Government House to fire gunshots and teargas to disperse the protesters.
The crowd thereafter fled towards different directions after they were dispersed by the security operatives.
