Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of President Bola Tinubu, has condoled with Betty Akeredolu, the widow of late Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
The First Lady, who was at the Ibadan residence of the late governor on Saturday, December 30, 2023, said Akeredolu fought gallantly to stay alive but every human existence is subject to the will of God, adding that Nigeria has lost one of its great men.
“He did his best. God will be there for you, when God shows up for you, that is what really matters,” she said.
She admonished the widow and the family to take solace in God and trust in Him alone at this trying time.
