Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia has been declared Governor-Elect of Benue State having won the March 18 governorship election.
The Catholic priest was declared winner of the election on Monday.
According to INEC, Alia of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 473,933 votes to defeat his closest rival and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Titus Uba, who got 223,913 votes.
