Rift with Wike: Nothing wrong when father, son quarrel – Rivers Gov

Governor Siminalayi Fubara has declared that there is nothing wrong in a father and a son to quarrel.

He, however, gave assurances that the rift with his godfather, Nyesom Wike, will be amicably resolved.

The governor spoke when the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, led a military delegation to the Government House in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

Fubara said: “For our dear state, I know everybody is wondering what’s going on, what’s not going on. We are okay, there is no problem.

Fubara: PDP governors meet Wike in Abuja

“If we have an internal issue, it will be resolved and everything will go back to normal. There is nothing wrong if a father and a son have a problem, but I don’t think there is anything. Whatever it is, we will definitely resolve the issue.”

The governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently meeting with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, in his office in Abuja to resolve the crisis.
