There was panic in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Thursday, as armed robbers attacked a bullion van and reportedly killed a yet to be ascertained number of persons.
It was gathered that the attack occurred at Idi-Ape in the Iwo Road area of the state capital.
It was further learned that the armed robbers carted away money from the bullion van after the attack.

A resident of the area, who spoke on the incident, disclosed that the armed robbers attacked the bullion van at the Idi Ape Junction when traffic light had stopped some vehicles.
He added that some people were killed during the attack.
Meanwhile, the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, had yet to react to the incident as of the time of filing this report.
