Senator Mohammad Sabo Nakudu representing Jigawa South-West senatorial district has clinched the All Progressives Congress (APC) South West Senatorial ticket.

Nakudu won the primary by-election in Dutse to fill the vacuum created by the death of the APC senatorial candidate, Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya.

A statement by the state’s Commissioner for Special Duties, Auwal Sankara, said that the chairman of the election committee, Alhaji Umar Shehu, declared Sabo the winner of the primary election conducted at the Aminu Kano Triangle in Dutse, the state capital.
