Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, widely known as Mr P, has endorsed the presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, for 2023 presidency.
Peter, who is a member of the singing duo P-Square, described Obi as the most qualified presidential aspirant to “save and fix” Nigeria.
He urged the PDP delegates to vote for Obi during the party’s primary election, which has been slated for Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, 2022.
The popular singer made this known via a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Monday.
Sharing the pictures of the presidential hopeful, Mr P wrote: “My dear delegate! I can no longer hold it anymore! Please give us Peter Obi 🗳He is the most qualified to save and fix our beloved country🇳🇬! Sir! You have my support💯✊🏾

Obi is one of the aspirants vying for the PDP’s presidential ticket ahead of the 2023 general election.

The former governor of Anambra State was the running mate of ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, in the 2019 presidential election.
He is vying for the PDP 2023 presidential ticket alongside Atiku, former Senate Presidents, Bukola Saraki, Anyim Pius Anyim; Governors Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, and Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State.
Others are former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose; Ovation Publisher, Dele Momodu; and Alhaji Mohammed Hayatu-Deen.
