The Oyo State Post-Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) says the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for applicants for teaching and non-teaching positions in the state public secondary schools will hold between July 29 and August 2, 2024.
The TESCOM Chairman, Pastor Akinade Alamu, disclosed this while updating newsmen on the recruitment of 10,000 teaching and non-teaching staff into Oyo State teaching service in Ibadan on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Alamu said 62,000 applicants would take part in the examinations, out of whom 12,000 put in for non-teaching jobs and 50,000 for teaching jobs.
He disclosed that the examinations would hold at the CBT Centre, Ajibode, and the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre in Ibadan.

The TESCOM boss stated that specific dates and times for respective applicants could be accessed through the job portal for the exercise.
He called on the applicants to print copies of their CBT schedule and the applications bearing their passports from the job portal.
Alamu also urged the applicants to adhere strictly to the time and date sent to them, warning that loitering around the examination centre would not be condoned.
According to him, successful candidates will be required to appear for oral interview.
The TESCOM chairman expressed the commission’s commitment to a credible exercise and urged the general public not to rely on hear-says.
