Tinubu presents manifesto to Afenifere leaders in Akure on Sunday

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, will on Sunday (tomorrow) present his campaign manifesto, Action Plan, to the leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation (Afenifere), Chief Reuben Fasoranti, and other members of the group in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

This was disclosed via a statement issued on Saturday by the Director, Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga.

Onanuga stated that Tinubu will also present his campaign manifesto to the leadership of Afenifere on how he intends to tackle the economic and other challenges bedevilling the country.

It would be recalled that the 80-page manifesto, christened Renewed Hope, was formally launched in Abuja on October 21 by President Muhammadu Buhari.

On 17 December, Tinubu addressed a coalition of Arewa groups in Kaduna during which he highlighted the key elements of the plan, especially as they benefit the people of Northern Nigeria.

Onanuga, however, noted that the APC presidential flag-bearer will similarly speak on his plans on Sunday before the Yoruba group, led by Fasoranti.

He added that Tinubu will on Tuesday in Lagos discuss with the chambers of commerce in the South-West on how he intends to improve the economy of Nigeria, to achieve a double-digit growth.
