A pedestrian has been killed by a truck which had a brake failure at the Iyana Ishasi U-turn inward Mile 2 in Lagos State.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Bakare-Oki said the accident was due to speeding by the truck driver while trying to navigate through traffic.
